Subway, the beloved and widely-recognized fast food chain we all know today started as a humble sub shop in 1965. The restaurant was founded by 17-year old Fred DeLuca with help from his friend Peter Buck; together they dreamed of bringing delicious submarine sandwiches to every table. And boy did it take off! Now Subway is an international sensation serving up fresh wraps, salads and drinks around the world.
